It's made by the same company as D&D, so all the cards and themes tend to come from that. Its been around for like 30 years. It has an economy element where instead of sacrificing monsters, like in Yuigiho, you "tap" land/resource cards that are one of five elements, represented by color. Each player has 20 lifepoints, you win the game if you can reduce that to zero or your opponent runs out of cards to draw.

Or if you give your oppoent 20 poison counters, which you can do by attacking them with creatures that have an ability called "infect".
I play. I usually play a lot of local tournaments around here too. I have U/B Control and Red Deck Wins built right now. I also play EDH/Commander casually with Scion of Ur-Dragon as my commander. Scion is so troll worthy lol
also, at the next MWA show I'm at, we should play magic
I agree...
Awesome. Plus, it gives me plenty of time to deck build seeing as I'm getting out of EDH format.
Also, what decks does everyone play?
I play Mono Red Deck Wins and Blue/White Illusions for competitive
Then I play Goblins, Blue/Green Infect, and Red/Black Vampires casually at the moment
I'm also currently working on mono black infect for fun as well

Man, fuck Goblins. Yeah Bailey, I said it. That Blue/Green infect sounds fun, I'd love to look at that, and although I'm not a fan of red, that Red/Black Vampires is always fun and effective.

Eh, it's pretty cool, but costs too much for my taste (meaning mana-wise, not monetarily) and wouldn't be all that versatile. I want cards that can work against most any deck, not just someone who uses humans. I think only my white and black decks have humans, so this would have very little effect on my green and blue decks. The summon all Zombies from graveyard deal is pretty ballin' and could be super useful late in the game, especially if you're against a burn deck, like mine or Bailey's blue decks.
